Animate pseudo elements#22
I use pseudo elements for tons of things, like performant box-shadow animations, decorative borders, arrows on buttons (that can animate on hover for example), decorative things like quotation marks around testimonials, background design elements, row dividers, etc
Here are some screenshots of examples on sites I’ve done recently. All pseudo elements that would be cool to animate! 🙂
@Nick Murray We know about CSS Rule. @Rados Petrovic tried to implement it into motion.page, but it was more complicated than they thought it would be. So it has been back-burnered
ya, was just adding the link for anyone that comes along and wants more info on pseudo class animations with gsap. I think some people may feel like it should be very simple and may not know you can’t target pseudo classes directly with js
